Chapter 130: I Am Willing to Give Everything I Have!
1 week ago · 6 min read
The moment Asuramaru's voice fell, Yuji Itadori's eyes snapped open.
He was still pinned to the living room floor.
Hanami's withered branches wrapped around his body like restraints, binding his arms, legs, shoulders, and waist so tightly that even breathing was difficult. His cheek was pressed against the wooden floor. His fingers dug into the surface until his nails nearly cracked.
Mahito stood not far away, smiling down at him with unrestrained malice.
"That look of helpless rage is really amusing," Mahito said. "How about this? I'll bring people here one by one and let you watch with your own eyes as I turn them into…"
He laughed.
Kenjaku and the others did not interrupt.
For them, this situation was beneficial. If Yuji broke down and Sukuna took control, things might become even more interesting.
But inside Yuji's body, Sukuna felt something wrong.
A faint unease crawled through him.
No.
If this continued, could it be...
The answer came immediately.
Yuji's aura began to rise.
At first, it was subtle.
Then it surged.
Pitch-black smoke condensed from Demon Power and spilled out of his body. The smoke was so dense it seemed almost solid, twisting around him like living darkness.
The withered branches binding him creaked.
Then they tore apart.
Yuji pushed off the ground and leaped to his feet.
His eyes were no longer confused. No longer hesitant. No longer carrying that naive hope that every tragedy could be avoided if he just tried hard enough.
They were filled with killing intent.
He looked at the curses before him and spoke in a voice so cold it barely sounded like his own.
"Everything I've said until now might have been a lie."
The twin swords formed in his hands, wrapped in black mist.
"What I'm thinking from the bottom of my heart right now is... I want to kill all of you."
Mahito's grin widened.
"Shouldn't you say exorcise?"
Even now, he could not stop mocking him.
Only Sukuna's expression darkened.
Could it be...
This brat...
At the same time, inside Yuji's mind, Asuramaru opened the system panel.
His crimson eyes skimmed across the emotion points he had accumulated.
"System," he said without hesitation. "Unlock the template abilities."
A pause.
"Sago-giri and Spiritualization."
The system responded immediately.
[Ding! Consumed 35,000 emotion points.]
[Sago-giri unlocked. You can now use the power of the gale!]
[Spiritualization unlocked. You can now allow a portion of the soul to leave the physical body and engage in spiritualized combat!]
The information poured into Yuji's mind.
Power.
Method.
Instinct.
The moment Yuji felt it, his grip on the swords tightened until his knuckles turned white.
"Please..."
His voice trembled, not from fear, but from rage.
"Give me the power to kill all curses!"
He raised his head and roared.
"I'm willing to give everything I have, Asuramaru!"
That furious cry changed the expressions of everyone present.
Kenjaku's lips slowly curved upward.
Could it be?
Had Yuji Itadori just gained Asuramaru's recognition?
Sukuna's anger, on the other hand, nearly boiled over.
At that moment, he wanted nothing more than to tear Mahito apart with his own hands.
Inside Yuji's mind, Asuramaru's pleasant voice rang out again.
"Amusing."
His smile deepened.
"Then let me lend you a hand."
The next instant, Asuramaru activated Demonization.
Then Ittō Shura.
Yuji felt something explode inside him.
A special power flooded his body, rushing through his limbs, bones, blood, and Cursed Energy channels. It was violent, sharp, and intoxicating, as if every part of him had been forced awake.
Pale purple patterns appeared along one side of his face.
The eye on that side was dyed the same eerie color.
A sharp demon horn grew from his forehead.
At that moment, Yuji no longer looked simple, warm, or harmless.
He looked like a vengeful ghost that had crawled out of hell to collect lives.
Then Ittō Shura pushed his aura even higher.
The pressure filling the room became suffocating.
Sukuna was furious.
Can a desire like this really move you, Asuramaru?
Across from Yuji, Mahito's expression stiffened.
For one breath, he seemed to see that figure again.
Tanjiro Kamado.
The one who had looked at him and asked what he thought life was.
Yuji's voice cut through the room.
"What do you think life is?"
Flames erupted from his swords.
His Breathing Style activated, and Demon Power flowed through his body like an extension of his limbs. No longer borrowed clumsily. No longer handled like something foreign.
For this moment, the power answered his desire.
Yuji kicked off the floor.
He charged straight toward Mahito.
"Sago-giri!"
The swords flashed like lightning.
A gale roared around him.
Mahito's eyes widened.
Before he could fully react, Yuji's strike pierced through him, one sword driving into his abdomen with brutal force.
"Stop him!"
Jogo moved immediately.
Flames ignited around his hands as he stepped forward, heat surging from his body.
Before he could reach Yuji, a mass of Demon Power erupted from Yuji's side and blocked him like a wall.
Hanami attacked from the other direction.
In the same instant, two Disaster Curses closed in from both sides.
Mahito recovered as well, though the terror in his eyes could not be hidden. He reshaped the outline of his soul, forcing his body to separate from the sword embedded in him.
But the wound had already reached his soul.
Even after his physical body healed, Mahito spat out a mouthful of blood.
The battle erupted.
Hanami's plants burst from beneath the floorboards. Vines wrapped around Yuji's shoulder and yanked him with tremendous force.
Yuji was flung away.
His body smashed through the wall and shot into the night air outside.
Jogo followed at once.
The volcano on his head opened, releasing Ember Insects that screamed toward Yuji like living bombs.
Mahito raised one arm. Flesh twisted and reshaped, turning into a cannon-like muzzle. A storm of bone bullets fired into the air.
Yuji's eyes locked onto the incoming attacks.
Still midair, he slashed with both swords as fast as he could.
Wind tore outward.
Flames scattered.
But raw strength alone was not enough.
His swordsmanship, his control, his combat experience against enemies at this level, all of it was still far too immature.
The barrage broke through.
Several bone bullets pierced his body.
Ember Insects exploded against him, burning his skin and tearing open wounds.
Yuji crashed onto the street outside.
Dust and broken asphalt burst upward around him.
Inside the ruined room, Kenjaku and the Disaster Curses stepped out after him.
Across the street, Yuji rose again.
The wounds on his body healed almost instantly.
Without hesitation, he charged forward with both swords raised.
"Steel Tempest!"
Wind gathered before him in a violent spiral.
Yuji stepped onto the gale and rushed in like a blade carried by a storm.
Kenjaku retreated to a safe distance and watched with interest.
Below, Jogo, Hanami, and Mahito engaged Yuji at once.
Kenjaku's eyes narrowed as he analyzed the battle.
"He has already reached Special Grade strength," he murmured. "But compared to that person, he is still far too lacking."
His gaze followed Yuji's movements.
"Not only his body. His mastery of the sword is still crude."
Kenjaku watched like a researcher observing a fascinating specimen.
Jogo, however, was fighting for his life.
After finding a brief opening, he glanced back and shouted, "If he's already gained Asuramaru's recognition, then kill him now! We can't let him become a future disaster!"
Kenjaku's smile deepened.
Can this monster still be killed now?
On the side of Yuji's face, Sukuna's mouth appeared.
"Asuramaru," he demanded, voice heavy with suppressed fury, "have you really recognized this brat?"
Inside Asuramaru's mind, the system rang.
[Ding! Intense negative emotions detected from the King of Curses, Sukuna. Gained 50,000 emotion points!]
Asuramaru's mood improved at once.
Then he answered Sukuna's question.
"Desire alone still isn't enough to completely move me."
His tone was light, almost teasing.
"But it's undeniable. His current desire has made me somewhat expectant."
Sukuna cursed inwardly.
It was all because of these damned Cursed Spirits.
Still, if Yuji had not been completely recognized, then he still had a chance.
Below, Yuji was already struggling under the simultaneous assault of the three Disaster Curses.
Jogo's flames suppressed him head-on.
Hanami's plants controlled his movement.
Mahito slipped through the chaos, appearing behind him like a shadow.
Yuji was focused on Jogo and had no room to spare for what came from behind.
Mahito's arm twisted.
It transformed into three scythe-like tails, each shaped like a scorpion's stinger.
The blades swung toward Yuji's back.
And then, at that exact moment…
