Chapter 29 29: Anibro's Livestream

1 month ago · 5 min read

The real world.

At night, a man with a large nose and black-rimmed glasses sat in front of his computer, starting a live broadcast on a certain website.

As for the broadcast's title, it was naturally, "Welcome to Anibro's New Anime Funhouse."

[First!]

[I'm first!]

[Where there's Anibro, there I am!]

As an uploader in the anime section, Anibro's every move online attracted the attention of his fans. As soon as he opened the live stream, many people received notifications from the website, entering the stream to see what Anibro had planned for the night.

"Good evening, everyone, I'm your favorite Anibro."

After a simple opening, the man with black-rimmed glasses opened the new anime list and murmured, "With the arrival of April, many new anime series have already met with everyone. Today, Anibro will take you to see what these new anime are like."

Scrolling the mouse and looking at several new anime that had already aired their first or even second episodes, Anibro fell into a dilemma.

Months ago, he had already released a video specifically introducing these new anime in detail. Except for original anime without a source material, he had read the originals of other new anime long ago and knew how the plots unfolded.

"So... it really has to start with original anime, huh?"

Anibro filtered out the anime he had already read the originals of and began searching for original anime.

Then, an anime with the word "Live" in the upper right corner appeared in his sight.

"Live Anime?"

Anibro frowned, wondering if it was an anime about live streaming.

He opened the synopsis and found that this anime was actually broadcast in a live streaming format.

Unlike ordinary anime where the entire video is uploaded and viewers can freely drag the progress bar, this anime, titled "Classroom of the Elite," divides the broadcast of one episode into two time slots.

On Fridays, it is broadcast live, and viewers cannot fast-forward the progress bar. After the live broadcast ends, the content of that episode is uploaded online as a standalone episode, at which point it becomes a regular anime.

"A never-before-seen trick." Anibro's eyes lit up slightly.

Even as a veteran of the anime section, who had explained and critiqued countless anime, he couldn't help but exclaim when he saw this.

Moving the mouse to click on the anime with the word "Live," Anibro seemed to be talking to himself, but was actually speaking to the viewers watching his broadcast, "Today we're going to take a look at this 'Classroom of the Elite.' When I was doing the new anime guide, I think I missed it, so I have no impression of it at all."

Anibro felt that he might have been negligent at the time and didn't take it seriously, quickly becoming immersed in the world of the anime.

The stage where the story began was a bus full of students in red uniforms.

[Why isn't Anibro watching his favorite Isekai anime anymore?]

[Nonsense, Anibro's favorite is clearly NTR anime!]

Ignoring the comments, Anibro began watching the anime's content and sharing his thoughts, "I think this brown-haired guy should be the protagonist of this anime. He looks a bit expressionless and emotionless, which is rare for a male lead in the ACG world."

"People like him can always think calmly in times of crisis, so they shouldn't give viewers too bad of a feeling."

But before long, Anibro was proven wrong. An old lady boarded the bus, but all the seats were taken, with no place for her to sit. The brown-haired boy, as the protagonist, not only didn't offer his seat but also expressed his thoughts internally.

'Young people are more useful than old people, so they are more qualified to sit in this seat.'

Anibro's face broke into a wide grin, as if he was enjoying the show, muttering, "A bit absurd."

In his opinion, if the male protagonist had obtained some treasure and didn't want to give it away, then saying such words would be understandable. However, he was merely occupying a bus seat. To specifically explain this behavior and make such a statement, wasn't it a bit of an overreaction?

Thinking of this, Anibro pressed the pause button and expressed his opinion, "I think this protagonist is making a mountain out of a molehill. He just doesn't want to give up his seat, and then he comes up with so many fancy reasons."

Anibro moved the mouse, pointing the white cursor at the expressionless Ayanokoji Kiyotaka. "I think the protagonist of this story seemingly thinks a lot, but all he thinks about is that kind of minor stuff, right? It just feels really funny."

[Matches my stereotype of those people.]

[Hearing Anibro say that, I also want to laugh.]

[I saw that this anime's tags include "Battle of Wits" elements, could it be a battle of wits in this regard?]

[That would be too idiotic.]

After expressing his thoughts, Anibro continued watching the anime.

The focus shifted to the girl sitting next to the brown-haired boy. The girl had long black hair, sharp crimson eyes, and a beautiful face that exuded an aura of coldness.

[Yukino?]

[They both have long black hair and are cold, it must be my waifu Yukino.]

[Stop the baseless accusations, if it were my waifu Yukino, she would definitely give up her seat.]

[Everyone above is wrong, Yukino is mine.]

Anibro's brows furrowed slightly, his expression becoming a bit off.

He felt that the first impression of this work was not very good. Logically speaking, the male protagonist, the black-haired girl, and most of the people on the bus were all students, so they shouldn't be so indifferent. They should have some sympathy for the elderly.

Why do nothing like this?

Just as Anibro was feeling puzzled, a young man came up to the protagonist and pulled out a thousand-yen bill.

"Classmate, can you give up your seat to the old lady? I'm willing to pay one thousand yen."
