Chapter 16 – Demons Are Really Well-Endowed (II)

[Romani Oyama]
Honestly, I was impressed with my own self-control.
Obviously, Akeno had caught me multiple times shamelessly devouring her round, tight, juicy ass with my eyes... she said nothing, merely blinked and flashed me a smile, so I continued enjoying the view without a shred of remorse.
But even with the subtle touches and the revealing outfit, she taught me with genuine dedication, proving herself to be an excellent instructor. The proof was that, after just a few hours, the results of my demonic power training were quite fruitful.
According to her, demonic power was different from every other type of energy. Denser. More visceral. That was probably a good thing, right? Well, she had also explained that since demonic energy was rooted in the user's imagination, theoretically, it had no defined limit, and every demon naturally carried a certain amount of it within itself.
If it weren't for the extremely low reproductive capacity of the demonic race, I think demons would be an even greater threat.
Either way, Akeno was an exceptional teacher.
As questionable as her methods were, I wasn't complaining, especially since they had delivered more than enough results.
I raised my hand, releasing a controlled amount of demonic energy and gradually increasing it, then dissipated it as I closed my fist.
"Congratulations! Roman-kun."
Akeno, still in her provocative outfit, tilted her head slightly to the side and began to clap, a graceful smile resting on her lips. Her enormous, heavy breasts swayed slowly with each movement, nearly spilling out of the generous neckline that seemed to be fighting to contain them.
Huh. It was almost impossible not to let my eyes fall on that deep, slightly damp valley between those two fleshy mountains. Beads of sweat slid slowly between her breasts, descending unhurriedly until they disappeared into the warmth of her chest.
Satan, give me strength...
While I was calling upon some higher entity for assistance, Akeno displayed a mischievous smile and took a few steps in my direction.
"For my kouhai's dedication, I think you deserve a reward."
Catching the soft, intoxicating scent of her body drawing near, I barely noticed when she slid her arms around my neck and pressed her breasts against my chest.
A reward? I raised an eyebrow, wondering what perverted act this black-haired girl was plotting inside her head. But before I could finish that thought, it was cut short by a soft, wet sound.
Chu~!
A warm, delicate kiss had been planted on my cheek.
"Ara~! Ara~! What a naughty boy." Smiling with amusement in her eyes, she released my neck and stepped back with elegant grace. "I bet you were thinking something very perverted."
"..."
"You're quite a cruel senpai." A dry, drowsy smile formed on my lips, while she let out a light, amused laugh, without a single trace of remorse.

After my training session, Rias called us to the occult research club room.
Hmm...
All the peerage members were already gathered. In the meantime, Akeno had changed back into her normal clothes.
How does she change clothes that fast...
Letting out a discreet yawn, resisting the urge to close my eyes, I raised my hand and absentmindedly toyed with a few strands of my black hair, while noticing Koneko sitting right beside me, legs crossed and wearing her usual stoic expression.
Huh. She's definitely quite cute. I can understand why the whole school treats her like a pet.
"Well, since we're all gathered, we can begin." Rias crossed her arms over her chest, with a serious expression rarely seen on her face. "We've assembled because a stray devil, one who attacked his own master, is hiding in my territory. It is our obligation to eliminate him."
A stray devil... that's not good. From Rias's explanation and the information available on DevilNet, stray devils were those who had been reincarnated but had, for whatever reason, attacked or killed their own master. Every stray devil was, categorically, hunted down without any form of mercy.
I suppose it doesn't matter the race; no one appreciates a traitor.
"Understood." Rubbing my drowsy eyes, I parted my lips slightly. "But why did he decide to hide in Kuoh? Wouldn't it be far more intelligent to take refuge somewhere not governed by a devil?"
While I was still fighting the urge to drop my head onto Koneko's lap, Akeno answered me calmly.
"Well, surprisingly enough, it's actually much easier to hide where the supernatural population is sparse than in places where the supernatural is a constant presence, like Kyoto."
Oh. So Kyoto was a genuine epicenter of supernatural creatures. If I'm not mistaken, my class has a trip to Kyoto this year. Hmm... that sounds quite interesting. While trying to suppress the smile forming on my lips, Rias let out an irritated huff, still with her arms crossed.
"It's because they're underestimating me." She settled into the sofa across from me and crossed her legs with an air of pride. "They think I'm just a spoiled princess who won't bother managing her own territory. So let's show this stray mutt what happens when he intrudes on my home."
My boss seemed to be burning with intent. If she wanted to eliminate this stray devil, there wasn't much to complain about. In fact, I was even a little excited at the prospect.
In other words...
Ladies and gentlemen, it was time to throw this stray mutt out of the redhead's territory.
✧°✦°✧===✧°✦°✧===✧°✦°✧
Huh? I did not see that coming...
Emerging from Akeno-senpai's teleportation circle, my eyes blinked at the sight of a massive structure that looked like nothing so much as an abandoned theater.
Looking around, it was possible to tell the building stood in a forgotten corner of the city. The peeling walls, the partially collapsed ceiling, and the windows swallowed by climbing vines confirmed its abandonment. It made sense that someone on the run would choose a place like this, especially a devil.
In silence, I followed my red-haired leader into the crumbling structure.
Even as a newcomer to that supernatural world, every step we took further into the theater made me feel a growing pressure in the air. The strange part was that hidden beneath it was something that could only be described as excitement, a warm spark in my chest that I knew was coming from my ⟨Pugna Constitution⟩.
Breathing deeply to settle myself, my eyes swept the surroundings.
The interior was exactly what I would have expected from a decaying theater. Rows of rusted seats, a rotting stage, chandeliers draped in cobwebs. The whole place would have served perfectly as the backdrop for a horror film.
As if to intensify that feeling even further, Akeno said, in a low voice, that she could sense a demonic power just ahead.
The Warrens would be very proud of you, Akeno-senpai.
While that thought was crossing my mind, a voice echoed through the grand hall, soft and unsettling all at once:
"My~! What an intoxicating scent. I wonder how this young devil tastes..."
Along with the voice, an enormous silhouette crawled out from the darkness, revealing its monstrous body beneath the faint light filtering through the broken ceiling.
The upper half belonged to a beautiful naked woman, with long black hair flowing down pale skin and eyes of an intense violet. The lower half, however, was purely bestial, equipped with four powerful limbs, the two front ones resembling humanoid hands armed with gleaming red claws. Her stomach bore an open cavity lined with sharp teeth, something rather unsettling to contemplate.
A chimera? She literally looks like a chimera... or perhaps a monstrous centaur. I wonder if I could recreate something like that through alchemy.
It was somewhat strange that this was my first thought. Though my next thought wasn't much nobler.
How heavy must that pair of breasts be...?
For some reason, the devil had her upper half completely bare, with no sense of modesty whatsoever, a pair of enormous, voluptuous breasts fully on display. They were so staggering that the word "staggering" itself felt like too timid a euphemism for the occasion. Her nipples were wider than my entire arm.
While I was pondering that, Rias suddenly raised her arm, pointing firmly at the stray devil.
"Viser, the Stray Devil! Traitor of destiny's chains, who dared to spit upon the sacred law and order of your king! For sacrificing the blood of my people on the altar of your selfish desires, I, herald of eternal justice, condemn you to absolute annihilation! May your existence be erased by these very hands!"
"..."
Blinking slowly in my leader's direction, I couldn't help but let my mouth hang slightly open, mildly incredulous. "Rias-san, did you by any chance rehearse that pose and that speech in advance? I'm asking out of pure academic curiosity... and a mild degree of concern."
I could see tiny beads of sweat forming on her forehead, sliding down the side of her face until they disappeared along the curve of her neck, while a rosy flush spread across her face.
"I-it doesn't matter!"
Rias crossed her arms over her chest and turned her gaze to the side.
A slow smile tugged at my lips as I regarded my red-haired boss, who was almost certainly carrying a terminal case of eighth-grade syndrome.
She's quite adorable.
"Cough! Cough! Romani-kun, let me show you how real devils fight." A dry cough escaped Rias's lips, dispelling the embarrassment, while she cast a sharp look at the stray devil in front of her.
Viser only smiled wildly, baring teeth as sharp as razors, her expression growing more and more demonic with every passing second.
Ironic, isn't it?
"You arrogant little brat, I'm going to crush your skull and stain the floor a shade of red brighter than your hair." Viser raised her entire body with a low growl, her hands sliding over her own breasts in a gesture of disturbing excitement.
Well. She wasn't the only one beginning to feel that spark of excitement.
Man, I definitely have some serious issues...
Taking a few steps forward, my composure blending curiously with nervousness and a genuine hint of fear, my gaze drifted for a moment from the demonic monster in front of me to the beautiful redhead at my side.
"Rias-san, I'd like to try facing her personally."
Rias stared at me with wide eyes as I pulled off my blazer and tossed it aside. The usual drowsiness in my eyes had completely vanished, replaced by a mixture of genuine excitement and poorly disguised nerves.
"What? But you only just reincarnated, Romani-kun. It's far too dangerous to face a stray devil alone."
Hearing her voice, barely registering the objection, I took another step forward and cast a quick glance back over my shoulder at Rias.
"Don't worry. I just want to test my abilities against hers, at least once. Besides, don't I have my reliable seniors standing right behind me, ready to cover me if I slip up?"
Rias seemed to hesitate, but Akeno rested her hand gently on her shoulder.
"Let Roman-kun go. With us here, he shouldn't be in any real danger."
Rias looked at Akeno, then at me, and then let her shoulders drop in resignation.
"Alright, Romani-kun. Go ahead. We'll pull you out if things get dangerous." I smiled back at them, and Rias blushed faintly.
"Thank you, Rias-san. Akeno-senpai." I took a firm step forward, where Viser was waiting for me with eyes gleaming in anticipation. "Sorry for making you wait. Thank you for your patience."
"Hihihi~" Her laughter sounded like nails dragging across a chalkboard. "I don't mind waiting, handsome. Especially when such a fine meal is standing right in front of me. I'll keep you alive just to drain you over and over."
Watching her deranged smile spread across her lips, I realized, with a mildly unsettling clarity, that mine was almost identical to hers.
Author's Note: Romani's first official fight has begun, and his Pugna Constitution is about to kick in.
Meanwhile, Romani's internal monologue consisted of approximately 40% battle analysis, 30% scientific curiosity, and 30% breasts. Truly, a protagonist of remarkable focus and discipline.
