Capítulo 14 – Tiger That Brings a Wonderfully Intoxicating Sensation (II)

[Romani Oyama]
I wanted to feel everything my teacher could offer, the true weight of her strikes.
As strangely sadomasochistic as that sentence was, it was entirely true, which made it all the stranger.
But what made this situation a little strange, aside from my seemingly sadomasochistic side, was that my teacher was way too strong for a human, right? I'm a devil, and even so, my teacher is still quite a challenge.
"..." Fujimura blinked her brown eyes several times, visibly surprised by my words. Her usual smile returned to her lips, but there was something more animated in it now, a genuine spark that hadn't been there before. "Okay! If that's truly what you want." A competitive gleam rose in her eyes before her expression turned more serious and focused. "We'll use the two-point rule from here on out. First to land two clean hits wins." She gave her shinai a light swing, making the tiger keychain on the handle sway gently.
Two-point rule? Does that actually exist in Kendo? That sounded like a made-up rule... though I suppose every rule is made up in one way or another.
Without any prior knowledge, I simply nodded, watching Fujimura-sensei advance aggressively in my direction, her wooden sword cutting through the air in a straight trajectory toward my left shoulder. Thanks entirely to my demonic reflexes, I raised my shinai defensively in time, intercepting the descending blade with a sharp, violent crack that echoed through the kendo club.
Every collision between the swords sent waves of pleasure through my nervous system. Something that made my blood boil and my heart race in a way I couldn't put into words.
Masturbation...
As vulgar as it was, it was something like that. My entire body was in a state of dopamine-fueled pleasure. Maybe if I weren't a virgin and knew what sex felt like, I could relate this sensation to that carnal act, but for now, my only point of reference for pleasure was self-pleasure, so let's stick with that, ladies and gentlemen.
Now, as much as she seemed to be several steps above the average human in terms of pure technique and execution, her raw physical strength appeared to be inferior to mine, which allowed me to defend and resist her heavy strikes with relative ease.
Thank you, racial advantages...
Capitalizing on that edge I possessed, I pressed my shinai firmly against hers with increasing force, gradually pushing her back.
Her eyes widened as her feet slid across the polished dojo floor, making a faint scraping sound, and her narrowed eyes met mine, sparkling with a competitive intensity that ignited something inside me.
Without hesitating, I twisted my wrist and immediately counter-attacked, aiming with precision at the center of her chest with a direct, clean strike.
Fujimura reacted with impressive speed for a human, crossing her shinai vertically to block the attack. Still, the concentrated brute force of the impact forced her to take another step back, the sharp creak of strained wood echoing through the silence of the room.
I quickly pulled the sword back and delivered a penetrating thrust, once again targeting the center of her chest. Fujimura raised her shinai defensively to parry the strike, but my blade slid over it at the last second, escaping her block in an almost surgical fashion.
In a purely instinctive movement, the rounded wooden tip grazed her pale, exposed throat with a featherlight touch. A surge of pure adrenaline shot through my body at the hit, making my breath quicken in genuine excitement.
As I tried to rein in the rising excitement, Fujimura froze for a fraction of a second, her brown eyes widening as she massaged her neck with her fingers, but soon an animated grin curved her rosy lips. Then she gathered her emotional composure with an almost disconcerting naturalness, breathing deeply and collecting herself, while curious voices from the girls echoed through the dojo.
"Did he actually hit Fujimura-sensei?"
"That should be completely impossible... shouldn't it?"
"It definitely should be..."
"Who exactly is this boy?"
"I don't know his full name, but he's in the same class as Yuuto-kun and seems to have some kind of relationship with him."
"Same class as Yuuto-kun... wait a second. Isn't he that famous loner who apparently doesn't talk to absolutely anyone?"
"Fufufu! Exactly, he's our famous reclusive black-haired prince."
I bit my lip, taking considerable psychological damage to my sanity. Those are just empty words; they don't hurt physically... I sincerely hope.
While the girls continued whispering among themselves, Fujimura-sensei simply ignored them, parting her rosy lips with absolute calm, appearing not to even care about the redness on her neck.
"1 to 0." She raised her free hand gracefully, tucking a few strands of golden hair to the side. "Not bad for a student who sleeps through practically 100% of my classes."
"Thank you for the compliment."
"That wasn't exactly a compliment." She tilted her head slightly, studying my face with an analytical gaze. "Have you practiced kendo before?"
I shook my head. "I've never practiced kendo..."
Before I could finish the sentence, she burst forward with astonishing speed, moving the shinai rapidly in several simultaneous directions, creating a complex and unpredictable barrage of attacks.
Fujimura-sensei, this is downright shameless cheating!
Even completely caught off guard by the sudden assault, my eyes could barely keep up with her movements as I defended myself desperately, retreating with each collision.
And in the middle of that storm of strikes, I felt more alive than at any moment in my life. This was certainly the influence of the ⟨Pugna Constitution⟩ gradually turning me into a battle junkie.
I just hope it doesn't turn me into some kind of pervert.
As that thought flashed quickly through my mind, I was frantically defending against her consecutive attacks, only for her to mercilessly chain several more devastating strikes together in an unbroken sequence. This was extremely problematic for me, for the simple and frustrating reason that I was reasonably inept in the art of defense.
The only thing I could do was constantly retreat, dodging the initial attacks before being inevitably overwhelmed and struck hard on my right wrist by the wooden sword.
The pain exploded in my wrist like liquid fire. But along with the pain came something unexpected. A deep satisfaction. A twisted pleasure that made my eyes widen in shock at myself. What in the world was happening to me?
Trying not to dwell on that unsettling feeling, I shook my right hand, which was visibly reddened, feeling the throbbing burn spread through my fingers.
I was beginning to seriously suspect that my teacher wasn't just an ordinary human. How could she have that kind of strength?
"It seems we're perfectly tied now..."
I stopped speaking abruptly upon noticing a disturbingly satisfied smirk on Fujimura's face. It wasn't exactly sadistic, but there was something undeniably pleasurable in that expression. Her eyes were completely fixed on me — it was a little unnerving and at the same time quite charming. I suppose the charming part came entirely from my taste for older women.
Nevertheless, strangely mirroring that smile, I shifted my feet and retreated a few steps as she began to circle me like a predator sizing up its prey. Only a moment later did she advance in my direction.
The swords clashed violently against each other in rapid succession as I meticulously timed her attack rhythm, trying to identify some pattern. I dodged her horizontal strike and swung my sword in a precise counter-attack.
Fujimura twisted her body with impressive flexibility, leaning gracefully backward and letting my blade pass dangerously close to the curve of her chest.
Rising back up with a broad smile on her lips, she thrust energetically toward my head. The strike carried enough force to leave a serious bruise. I think this can technically still count as a normal kendo practice? Aren't you getting a little too excited, Fujimura-sensei?
Fortunately, I blocked the blow defensively, my hand tingling alongside the deafening crack that reverberated through the dojo.
At the same instant, I angled my shinai, letting her sword slide along the surface of my blade with a soft hiss.
With that golden window of opportunity opening before me, I stepped forward, drastically closing the distance between us, and swung my sword while controlling my strength as much as possible so as not to seriously hurt her.
The wooden blade cracked against her wrist with precision, making her involuntarily release her sword, which fell to the polished floor with a dry thud.
The sensation of victory that flooded my body was overwhelming. My heart was beating so fast I could hear it in my own ears. My breathing was ragged, my entire body trembling slightly. Strangely, it felt similar to a state of orgasm. That's a terrible comparison, isn't it?
"2 to 1... I won, Fujimura-sensei!" I exclaimed triumphantly, breathing deeply in an attempt to calm myself, while Fujimura rubbed her struck wrist with an initially disbelieving look that gradually gave way to a warm smile.
"Yes, you most certainly won, Romani-san." She tilted her head gracefully to the side, keeping the smile on her lips. "You were excellent during our sparring match."
Fujimura approached with light steps, passing the back of her hand across her face to wipe the sweat running down her smooth skin. A few steps away from me, she crouched down elegantly to retrieve the shinai that had fallen on the polished floor.
As she leaned forward, the white kimono slipped slightly over her chest, exposing the soft, generous contour of her fair skin. My gaze naturally drifted toward the slight opening of her kimono, where a small bead of sweat slid lazily along the delicate curve of her collarbone.
Romani, eyes on the horizon.
"Thank you sincerely for the sparring." She rose fluidly, rewarding me with a bright smile that lit up her face.
I was truly the one who should be thanking her. My eyes fell to my right hand, slowly opening and closing it, still feeling that addictive sensation that stubbornly settled at my fingertips. I sincerely hope I don't become a battle addict.
"I'm the one who's deeply grateful, Fujimura..."
"Taiga." She gently cut through my words, looking directly into my eyes with an expression that was at once serene and warm. "Just call me Taiga."
I blinked, a little surprised by the sudden familiarity, but soon opened my mouth with a smile forming naturally on my lips. "Of course, with pleasure, Taiga-sensei."
Author's Note: In Fate, there absolutely should have been a Taiga Fujimura route. I refuse to accept any argument to the contrary. We got multiple heroines, alternate timelines, parallel universes, corrupted Servants, and enough spin-offs to fill a small library, yet somehow Taiga was denied her rightful place among the main routes.
