Chapter 837. Six Sylvans? No, Six Monstruous Entities.

What were their thoughts when they arrived as a vanguard? If the captain had to say, he would express it as using too much force to crush a small power.
Of course, he had heard that the famous general Rhazor was defeated. Nevertheless, the location they were attacking was a recently conquered Solar System with basically no stellar infrastructure built to stop attacks. This meant that the only way to fight was a frontal attack.
So, with four Level 200+ powerhouses, over 500,000 soldiers ranging from Level 130 to Level 190, and over 100 starships with two mothership-class ones, the general of this vanguard felt that he had a crushing advantage.
“Prepare for a frontal clash. We will crush their advanced army and settle in one of the worlds to wait for orders.”
This was something they’ve repeated over and over, a routine, so to speak. Deadly Petal had never been a World Tree that pulled punches. Otherwise, her nickname wouldn’t have been so different from most other World Trees.
The Sylvan among the four participating generals spoke, confused. “We are entering the World Tree’s domain. Our signals have noticed some hidden roots… However. They are in a strange condition.”
“Strange condition?”
“Hm… if I had to use one word… I would use ‘dormant.’ The roots feel as if they are sleeping. Still, activity is returning. The readings we got one month ago and those we have now are noticeably different.”
The male human general frowned. “Perhaps her consciousness is not powerful enough to maintain her roots at this distance. There are cases of World Trees expanding far too fast initially and causing some of the roots to lose contact with their main body.”
“Hm…” The Sylvan pondered and nodded. Then, looking ahead, she commented. “Still, the enemy might be superior to us in numbers. Isn’t this too dangerous?”
The human general nodded. “It won’t be easy. However, they should not have sent more than one or two Second Ascension powerhouses. Our medium fighters might be at a disadvantage. However, our peak fighters should be stronger than them… Even with those absurd buffs.”
They had not been blindsided by Liu Shu’s blessing “list,” so they knew that even normal individuals from the Golden Sap Empire needed to be treated as elites.
“Well. Their starship models are lacking, and starships can’t be affected by these buffs. As long as we take down their top fighters, we should be done.”
A voice reached them. “Sightings of enemy ships and army! Numbers are estimated to be 1,000,000… Huh?”
The person reading the energy graphs frowned deeply and whispered something to his helpers. After checking and re-checking, the man’s face paled, and he shouted. “General! Retreat! Quickly order a retreat! We’ve picked up over 100 <Star Emperor> level energy signals! Six of them even surpass those of top-tier <Star Emperors>!”
In the graph, there were 100 bright energy dots, and among them, six dwarfed the rest. The sheer magnitude of their ternary essence readings made them feel like moving World Trees.
The four generals felt their faces stiffen. The Sylvan quickie opened all communications. “Retreat! Turn around and retreat! This is a priority zero order!”
On the other side, Verdantia and the others noticed that the enemy starships were starting to move back. However, none of them were flustered. Seraphina spoke coldly. “Too late to turn around. <Light Path>.”
Bright light covered a massive area around Seraphina, and a second later, a message appeared in front of everyone.
[You’ve been affected by <Light Path (S- Rank)>! Your movement acceleration is increased by 500% for 5 minutes.]
Harmonixia plucked the strings of her zither, and her energy swept the light, turning it from white to a gentle purplish blue. “<Echoing Resonance>.”
[You’ve been affected by <Echoing Resonance (S- Rank)>! Your last received buff will be stacked two more times!]
[Acceleration +500%!]
[Acceleration +500%!]
Their current stage was… the void. No friction, basically no obstacles. The only thing separating them from the advanced part was… distance.
Tempestria and the others pushed their ternary energy, and simultaneously, all six activated their <Battle Dress>.
Even in the void, everyone around the six of them felt a muted shockwave of raw ternary essence sweep everything around them. Then, without any delay, they all pushed forward.
Six streaks of light, followed by several thousand affected by Seraphina, tore through the void at ridiculous speeds. Their objective was naturally the Mothership-class ship.
On the deck, the people in charge of informing began speaking with a hasty tone. “Ternary essence ripples detected! 51,443 energy signals are accelerating toward us. The six biggest ternary essence signals are accelerating rapidly without any signs of slowing down! Distance between us is only 1,000,000 kilometers!”
While it sounded like a lot, in the void, where people moved at several thousand kilometers per second when flying in a straight line, this distance could be reduced in a matter of minutes.
Moreover, with Seraphina’s buffs, their group of six was reaching speeds that no Level 200 individual should be able to get. That wasn’t all. After all, their movement speed was massively boosted by the new Chaos titles.
“Distance 900,000…! 890,000…!”
The general spoke as if rushing. “What are you all doing!? Accelerate! Use the turbos and enter interstellar travel speed quickly!”
“Activating engines. Delay for activation is 3 minutes and 36 seconds!”
Never had the time to cook a precooked food pack felt so long!
“Three minutes left!”
“Distance 750,000!”
“Two minutes left!”
“Distance 450,000!”
“One minute left!”
“Disatnce 190,000!”
Hearing the numbers, the general knew that they would catch up! Their acceleration was too ridiculous!
“General! The six alpha ternary essence signals have become too distant from the rest! They have at least one and a half minutes of advantage in distance. Estimated time difference of arrival is one minute and forty-eight seconds!”
“One minute and forty-eight…” The general’s eyes turned ruthless. “Concentrate all cannons and long-range artillery! We are going to blow up those six monsters.”
“Lord General, asking for confirmation. Activating armament will delay the departing time by two minutes. There is a 27% chance that the straggler <Star Emperors> will reach us before we deal with them!”
“Shoot! If we let those monsters reach us, we won’t hear the end of it!”
“Understood.”
Verdantia and the other five, their eyes cold and indifferent, noticed that the 100 starships that were accelerating in front of them had slowed down very slightly. Obsidianis communicated through ternary energy. “They’ve activated the armament.”
Cinderielle smiled coldly, her orange eyes blazing. “They’ve fallen for it.”
Truth was, they had yet to advance at their fastest speed. Once they noticed the other side slowing down, their bodies surged with terrifying energy.
“<Thermis Sylvan Chaos Transformation>.”
“<Vitae Sylvan Chaos Transformation>.”
“<Tempest Sylvan Chaos Transformation>.”
“<Harmonia Sylvan Chaos Transformation>.”
“<Darkveil Sylvan Destroyer Transformation>.”
“<Lightbloom Sylvan Valkyrie Transformation>.”
Seraphina and Obsidianis managed to get their battle dresses after gaining their personal Chaos Titles. However, before going through their <Third Ascension>, it was not possible to gain their Chaos transformation. So, they could only activate the one they had unlocked by their own efforts.
Cinderielle and the other three exploded with terrifying energy. Their hidden chaos energy mixed perfectly with their elements, increasing their height and causing their true bodies to manifest. All four of them looked perfectly humanoid, their flower-like humanoid bodies mixed with their battle attire in seamless harmony.
In their hands, root-interwoven weapons blazing with their personal elements caused the surroundings to twist faintly as chaotic energy flowed through them.
Meanwhile, Seraphina and Obsidianis changed as well. They were slightly shorter than the previous four, and their bodies were much more tree-like than theirs. Of course, this didn’t cause their beauty to be lacking in any way. In a way, the terrifying destructive energy flowing out of Obsidianis and the majestic light blooming from Seraphina gave them a unique yet imposing feeling.
Once the six of them transformed, their stats multiplied on top of their blessed ones. At this moment, their <Stats> were all well over 90,000,000, while their man stats were approaching 130,000,000. These numbers were the result of Liu Shu’s ridiculous stacked multipliers.
Their ternary essence reserves were all above 2,500, while their main ternary essence stats were approaching an outrageous 4,000.
In terms of raw numbers, their current bodies carried 10 times Rhazor’s stats and 20 times his ternary essence reserves.
Harmonixia’s voice shook the void, harmonizing all ternary essence around their group of six. “<Symphony Of Unity>, <Harmonic Domain>.”
Tempestria stretched her hands, her Aether Mana bursting forward and reaching beyond the starship fleet ahead. “<Endless Tempest Domain>... <Atmospheric Shift>.”
A literal wall of wind stretched thousands of kilometers, appearing in front of the fleeing starships, causing alarms to blare inside each of their ships.
Meanwhile, Cinderielle raised her staff while flying forward. Aether mana churned violently, gathering and twisting under Cinderielle’s abilities and chaos essence. “<Heat Absorption Domain>. <Ignition Burst>.”
A reddish-blue explosion occurred. From a distance, it looked as if a star of blue and red fire suddenly manifested, its circumference swelling violently as it consumed over half of the fleet.
With the entire fleet thrown into disarray, Verdantia, Seraphina, and Obsidianis channeled their Anima Energy, the void before them exploding as an absolute flood of life, light, and darkness attributes plant creatures burst forth and spread out. Liu Shu’s blessings instantly took over each of them, and their <Realm-Touched> title allowed the temple’s buffs to imprint, reducing the upkeep, summoning cost, and also further increasing each summon’s stats.
In just a single second, the summons rushed forward, guided by several leaders at Level 200+ with stats superior to those of Rhazor.
Both allies and enemies looked at them with startled looks, their brains crashing at the sheer magnitude of their powers. This was, without a shred of doubt, the strongest display of strength all entities present had ever witnessed.
With Tempestria’s storm wall blocking the escape of the remaining starship fleet, the girls quickly crossed the distance and began to unleash hell upon all creatures present. The summons tore into the starships, slaughtering most and suppressing the rest.
The four Level 200 generals saw the ceiling of their room screech open; six tall figures descended and landed on the deck. At the lead, Cinderielle spoke up. “Surrender.”
Her voice, carrying a trace of chaos, caused several people present to feel as if their brains were being twisted, and many ended up reviewing that day’s food intake.
“W-We surrender.”
Terrified? No, their current feelings were beyond that. The primal fear coursing through their veins was one that not even Deadly Petal caused when seeing her in person. Currently, each and every single one of the entities in front of them would crush Deadly Petal individually.
So, there was no resistance, no loyalty, and much less righteousness in their minds. The only thing in their heads was to bow down and hope that these monsters could forgive them.
Harmonixia, her melodic voice laced with a trace of twistedness, sounded both pleasant enough to hum and grating enough to frown. “It seems that our strength has reached quite a… high level.”
Seraphina and Obsidianis looked at their four seniors with twitching lips. ‘You think so?’
